About the Beach

Kambos is a quiet and very traditional beach located on the southern coast of Kimolos, offering a peaceful alternative to the busier port areas. The shore is a mix of sand and fine pebbles, and the water is exceptionally clear and shallow, making it an excellent choice for a long and relaxed swim. It is a very authentic spot where you can often see local fishermen tending to their nets near the water's edge. There are no organized facilities or sunbeds, so the atmosphere remains very low-key and natural. A few tamarisk trees along the back of the beach provide some natural shade for those who arrive early. It is an ideal destination for travelers who want to experience the simple, quiet beauty of the Cyclades in a setting that feels completely untouched by modern tourism. The view across the sea toward the nearby islands is very calming and beautiful.
