Kato Kampos Beach is a quiet and narrow coastal strip located in the southern part of Amorgos known as Kato Meria situated at the end of a fertile green valley. The surrounding environment is defined by its traditional agricultural character where the beach is bordered by low hills covered in reeds olive trees and Mediterranean vegetation providing a soft and verdant backdrop compared to the islands northern cliffs. The area feels like a secluded rural escape far from the main tourist hubs offering a peaceful and unpretentious atmosphere where the local farming landscape meets the sea. Because it is sheltered within a deep bay the water remains very calm and the environment reflects the quiet and slower pace of life found in the southern villages of the island.
