Lidario beach also known as 'Lydario' is often considered the most beautiful and impressive beach on Agios Efstratios stretching for nearly a kilometer along the western coast. The shoreline is covered in golden sand and fine pebbles with vibrant turquoise waters that are exceptionally clear and inviting for long distance swimming. Its westward orientation makes it a prime location for watching the sunset over the horizon in a completely silent and natural setting. The beach is entirely unorganized and remote requiring a journey along dirt tracks to reach its tranquil shores.
