About the Beach

Liparo is a hidden gem on the southwestern coast of Kea, known for its small pebbles and incredibly clear, emerald-colored water. It is a very quiet and unorganized beach that is mostly reached by a long dirt road or by private boat, keeping the number of visitors very low. The bay is surrounded by steep, rocky hills that provide a sense of enclosure and privacy, making it feel like a secret hideaway. There are no facilities or shops here, so the environment remains wild, silent, and entirely natural. It is a fantastic spot for those who enjoy snorkeling, as the rocky seabed is full of life and the visibility is world-class.
