About the Beach

Mania is a very remote and wild beach located on the southern coast of Kefalonia, offering a sense of total isolation for those who travel off the beaten path. The shore is a mix of sand and pebbles, and the water is a deep, transparent blue that is exceptionally clean. There are no facilities, shops, or sunbeds here, so the environment is entirely silent and natural. It is an ideal spot for adventurous travelers who want to escape the main tourist centers and find a private corner of the Ionian Sea. The surrounding hills are dry and scrubby, providing a stark and beautiful contrast to the bright sea. It is a great place for snorkeling, as the rocky seabed around the edges of the bay is full of life and the water visibility is fantastic.
