About the Beach

Petani is one of the most spectacular and dramatic beaches on the island, often compared to the famous Myrtos for its scale and beauty. Located on the western coast of the Paliki peninsula, it features a shore of white pebbles and sand at the foot of massive, vegetation-covered mountains. The water is an incredible, deep turquoise and is exceptionally clear, offering a world-class swimming experience. It is well-organized with sunbeds and several tavernas that provide some of the best sunset views in the Ionian, as the beach faces directly west.
