Platis Gialos is the quieter and more relaxed neighbor of Makris Gialos, separated only by a small rocky outcrop. It features the same stunning golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise water but offers a much more peaceful and low-key atmosphere. The bay is surrounded by lush green hills and pine trees, creating a very natural and protected feeling. It is an organized beach with sunbeds and a small canteen, but it lacks the loud music and intense crowds of the busier resorts, making it a favorite for couples and those seeking a bit of serenity. The entry into the water is smooth and easy, and the clarity is world-class. It is a fantastic spot to enjoy the high-quality sea of the Lassi area in a setting that feels more intimate and refined.
