About the Beach
Perivoliou Beach is a remote and stunningly beautiful beach on the northern coast of Skopelos, known for its dramatic rock formations and crystal-clear turquoise water. It features a shore of sand and pebbles surrounded by high cliffs and lush greenery that provide a wild and majestic backdrop for a swim. The beach is partially organized with a few sunbeds and a small wooden canteen that serves local snacks during the summer months. Because it faces north, the beach can be subject to waves when the wind blows, but on calm days the water is like a mirror and offers excellent visibility for snorkeling along the rocky edges. Access is via a steep winding road through the forest, which adds a sense of adventure to the visit. It is a destination for nature lovers and those who want to find a quiet and somewhat remote corner of the island in a paradise-like setting. The entry into the water is via the stones and the depth increases quickly. The atmosphere is quiet and reflects the natural power.
