About the Beach

Trapezaki is a beautiful and very calm sandy beach located on the southern coast, offering a much more tranquil alternative to the busier Lourdas area nearby. The beach is narrow and sandy, with very shallow water that is perfect for a gentle and relaxing swim. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and pine trees that reach almost to the sand, providing a very fresh and natural atmosphere. The beach is partially organized with a few sunbeds and a highly regarded traditional taverna located right on the shore. It is a very friendly and low-key spot, popular with locals and families who want to enjoy the sea in a quiet and protected setting. The water is usually very warm and still, making it feel like a massive natural pool. It is an ideal destination for a slow afternoon where the focus is on good food and a peaceful connection with nature.
