About the Beach

Vagia Beach is a secluded and narrow coastal spot found on the southern coast of Anafi tucked away between rocky headlands that provide a high degree of privacy and shelter. The landscape is defined by its simplicity and the presence of low arid hills that reflect the intense Aegean light creating a bright and quiet environment. Because it is unorganized and requires a walk along the coastal paths it remains a peaceful alternative to the islands more popular southern bays offering a primitive connection to the sea. The surrounding terrain is typical of the southern Cyclades with low scrubland and small rocky outcrops defining the intimate and unrefined character of this quiet and largely unknown bay.
