About the Beach

Vouti is a hidden gem located on the Paliki peninsula, often described as one of the most beautiful and quiet beaches on the island. It is a small cove of fine pebbles and sand, tucked away at the bottom of a steep, green hill. The water is an incredible shade of bright turquoise and is so transparent that boats seem to be floating in mid-air. It is a very peaceful and unorganized spot, though there is a small, traditional canteen on the cliff above that serves simple snacks and drinks. The sense of isolation and the purity of the environment make it a favorite for those who want to escape the main tourist centers. The snorkeling here is fantastic, with many underwater rock formations to explore. It is a true paradise for travelers who appreciate the raw, quiet beauty of the Ionian coastline in its most authentic form.
