History

The parish of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church has served and ministered in the greater Orlando area since 1929, making it one of the longest-established Greek Orthodox communities in central Florida. The parish took root in the years before central Florida's rapid twentieth-century growth, planting the seeds of Orthodox Christian worship in a region that would later become one of the most visited destinations in the country.

Through the decades the parish grew alongside greater Orlando itself, eventually relocating to its present home at 1217 Trinity Woods Lane in the suburb of Maitland. The church was formally consecrated on Holy Friday in 2017, a milestone that marked the culmination of decades of growth and the deepening spiritual life of the congregation.

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Greater Orlando at 1217 Trinity Woods Lane in Maitland serves the Orthodox Christian faithful of central Florida as a parish of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Atlanta within the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, continuing nearly a century of worship, fellowship, and Hellenic heritage in the heart of the Orlando metropolitan area.
