About the Beach

Agia Theodoti is one of the most beautiful and spacious beaches on Ios, located on the northeastern side of the island. It features a long stretch of soft sand and very clear, shallow water that is perfect for a relaxing swim. The bay is quite wide and is surrounded by a peaceful landscape of hills and a small, historic chapel that gives the beach its name. It is much quieter than Mylopotas but still offers some basic facilities like sunbeds and a couple of nearby tavernas. The entry into the water is very smooth, making it a favorite for families and people who like a comfortable day at the sea. Despite its size, it maintains a very calm and laid-back energy. It is a great place to visit if you want to see a more traditional side of the island while still enjoying the luxury of a wide sandy shore and beautiful Aegean colors.
