About the Beach

Papa is a remote and beautiful beach located on the southern coast of Ios, tucked away in a deep and well-protected bay. It is famous for its bright turquoise water and fine golden sand, offering a very high-quality swimming experience. Access is primarily by boat, which ensures that it remains one of the quietest and most pristine spots on the island. There is a large hotel nearby, but the beach itself maintains a very natural and spacious feel. The water is exceptionally clear and the seabed is sandy, making it a very inviting place to spend the day.
