About the Beach

Agios Panteleimonas Beach is a pretty and wide sandy beach located in the area of Istron that gets its name from a tiny white church with a bright blue dome that sits right at the edge of the shore. The sand is soft and golden and there are often lots of colorful flowers and green plants growing on the dunes behind the beach which makes it look like a picture from a postcard. It is a very calm place to visit because it is protected from the big waves, and many people like to go there for a peaceful swim and then sit in the shade of the church to look out over the beautiful blue water of the Mirabello Bay.
