About the Beach

Ammoudi Beach is a small and very popular sandy cove located right on the edge of the town of Agios Nikolaos that is tucked between high rocky walls that keep the wind away. The water is a bright turquoise color and is very clear, making it a great place to bring a mask and snorkel to see the little fish that hide in the underwater rocks near the shore. Since it is so close to the town center, there are lots of places to eat and stay nearby, and the beach is well organized with plenty of sunbeds, so it is a very easy and comfortable place to spend a few hours swimming in the middle of the day.
