About the Beach

Diamoudia is a small and picturesque cove located on the western side of the island, tucked away between the harbor and the northern beaches. It is a mix of pebbles and sand, and it is framed by rocky hills that protect the water from the wind. The sea here is very clear and usually very still, making it a great spot for a peaceful swim. It is accessible by a dirt road, which keeps the number of visitors low compared to the main beaches nearby. There are no facilities or shops on the sand, so the environment stays quiet and natural throughout the day. The rocky edges of the bay are perfect for exploring with a mask, as the underwater formations are quite interesting. It is an ideal spot for anyone who wants a quiet alternative that is still relatively easy to reach from the main port area.
