About the Beach

Gidaki is widely considered the most spectacular beach on Ithaca and one of the finest in the Ionian Sea. It features brilliant white pebbles and water so intensely turquoise that it looks like it belongs in a painting. Most people arrive by a small shuttle boat from Vathy, which adds to the sense of adventure and exclusivity. The water is deep, cool, and incredibly transparent, providing a world-class swimming experience.
