About the Beach

Kalydna Beach is a peaceful, pebble-and-shingle stretch located on the western coast of Kalymnos, tucked between the popular climbing sectors and the village of Kantouni. It is a favorite spot for those who want to avoid the larger crowds of the main resort areas, offering a much more relaxed and low-key atmosphere. The water here is remarkably clear and deep blue, providing a perfect vantage point for watching the sun set behind the silhouette of Telendos island. Because the beach is bordered by rugged cliffs and traditional stone walls, it feels very much a part of the island's natural, unpolished landscape. It is a great beach if you are looking for a quiet place to swim and relax after a morning of hiking or climbing in the nearby hills.
