Kantouni Beach is one of the most popular and vibrant stretches of coastline on Kalymnos, located on the western side of the island near the village of Panormos. It is a long, sandy beach known for its deep golden sand and its lively atmosphere, as it is lined with several cafes and bars that stay active well into the evening. The water here is clear and beautiful, but because the bay faces the open sea, it is often subject to waves, making it a favorite spot for those who enjoy a more energetic swim. The beach offers a stunning view of the Monastery of Agios Savvas perched on the mountain above, and at sunset, the entire bay is bathed in a spectacular light.
