About the Beach

Kambaki is a rugged and north-facing beach that offers a very different experience from the sandy bays of the south. The shore is mostly pebbly, and the landscape is dominated by steep rocks and wild vegetation. Because it faces the northern winds, the water can be quite fresh and wavy, providing a very invigorating swim. It is a very quiet spot that doesn't see many visitors, making it a good choice for those who value privacy and a more natural, unorganized environment. There are no facilities here, so the atmosphere remains wild and untouched. The clarity of the water is excellent, and the rocky seabed is full of life for those who enjoy snorkeling in deeper water. It is a place that feels honest and raw, capturing the spirit of the northern Cycladic coastline where the elements are felt more strongly than in the sheltered southern coves.
