About the Beach

Kania is a very friendly and accessible bay located north of the main port of Nimporio. It is one of the more developed beaches on Halki, featuring an organized section with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a small canteen that serves drinks and snacks. The shore is pebbly, and the water is very calm and clear, making it a great choice for a comfortable and easy day out. The bay is quite narrow and sheltered, so you don't have to worry much about waves or strong currents. It is a popular spot because it strikes a good balance between a beautiful natural setting and the convenience of having facilities nearby. The walk from the town is manageable for most, and the coastal views along the way are a nice bonus. It’s a reliable choice for a relaxing swim in a pretty environment.
