Yiali Beach Halki

Yiali is a small and very bright cove located on the southern coast of Halki. The beach is famous for its bright white pebbles that make the water look like a glowing shade of turquoise. To get there, you can either take a boat from the main harbor or follow a challenging hiking path that winds through the island’s dry, rocky interior. The water gets deep fairly quickly and is exceptionally transparent, making it a great spot for a long, refreshing swim. Because the cliffs around the bay are so steep, they offer some natural shade in the early morning or late afternoon.
