About the Beach

Kambi is one of the most popular and easily accessible beaches on Fournoi, located just over the hill from the main harbor. It’s a long, sandy cove that is well-protected from the wind, resulting in very calm and clear water. There are quite a few tamarisk trees along the shore that provide excellent natural shade. Kambi has a bit more development than the remote coves, with a few tavernas and cafes nearby where you can get a drink or a full meal. It’s a very social and friendly spot that is a favorite for both locals and visitors. The easy walk from the town makes it a convenient choice for a full day of swimming and sunbathing. Despite being popular, it usually maintains a relaxed and manageable pace that fits the slow rhythm of the island.
