About the Beach

Katsarou is a small and very secluded pebble beach located on the western side of the island, accessible by a quiet walking trail or by boat. It is a very private spot that offers a lot of solitude, as it is far from the main tourist paths. The water is a deep, transparent blue and the seabed is rocky and full of interesting marine life. There are no facilities or shade, so the environment remains entirely natural and wild. It is an ideal destination for those who value privacy and want to find a quiet corner of the island where they can be alone with the sea. The surrounding landscape is rugged and steep, providing a sense of being tucked away in a secret cove. It is a very simple and beautiful place for a quiet, refreshing swim in the Ionian.
