About the Beach

Kavos is a quiet and beautiful swimming platform located on the edge of the main settlement, offering a bit more privacy than the central harbor area. It consists of a rocky ledge with ladders that lead into very deep and clear water. It is a fantastic spot to watch the sun set over the Aegean, as it faces west and offers wide views of the open sea. The atmosphere is very relaxed and low-key, making it a favorite for those who want to read a book and swim in peace. There are usually no facilities here, so the experience is very simple and focused on the quality of the water. The deep blue of the sea and the silence of the area create a very restorative and calm environment. It is a great place for a late afternoon swim when the heat of the day begins to fade and the water is still warm.
