About the Beach

Mandraki is a very charming and significant spot as it is the only place on Kastellorizo that can be considered a small sandy beach. Located just a short walk from the main harbor, it offers shallow and calm water that is perfect for families or those who prefer a more traditional beach entry. The beach is narrow and framed by the colorful neoclassical houses that make the island so famous. It is a very convenient and easy place for a quick dip in the morning or a relaxed afternoon by the sea. While it is small, the view of the harbor and the nearby mountains of Turkey is absolutely stunning. There are several cafes and tavernas just steps away, providing a very social and accessible environment. It captures the unique, quiet energy of the island while offering a rare bit of soft sand underfoot.
