About the Beach

Klima is a beautiful and very secluded beach located on the southern part of the island, tucked away in a well-protected bay. It is a mix of sand and pebbles with very calm, emerald green water that is ideal for a long and peaceful swim. Access is primarily by boat, which ensures that it remains one of the quietest spots on Ios even during the busiest months. There is no organization and no facilities, so the landscape feels very natural and wild. The surrounding hills are covered in typical Mediterranean shrubs, and the whole area has a very serene and private energy. It is a fantastic spot for snorkeling, as the clear water and rocky seabed attract a lot of fish. For travelers who want to experience the southern coast in its most raw and quiet form, Klima is an excellent and highly recommended destination.
