Mikro Nisi Beach is a small and picturesque swimming spot located on the northern coast of Zakynthos, near the famous Blue Caves. It features a rocky shore and exceptionally clear turquoise water that is deep and fresh, making it a premier spot for snorkeling and diving. There is no traditional sandy beach, but several stone platforms and small pebbly patches allow for sunbathing and easy access to the sea. The beach is unorganized but is served by a few traditional tavernas on the cliffs above that offer fresh local food with a view of the islet. It is a destination for those who want to escape the crowded sandy resorts and find a quiet and raw corner of the island. The water is deep and offers a powerful swimming experience in a setting of high rocks and green vegetation. It is a spot where you can see the geological side of Zakynthos from sea level.
