Porto Limnionas Beach is one of the most hidden and spectacular swimming spots on the western coast of Zakynthos, appearing more as a fjord than a traditional shore. It features intense emerald and turquoise water surrounded by steep limestone cliffs and deep sea caves. There is no sand here, only flat rock platforms where visitors can spread their towels and soak in the sun. The water is exceptionally clear and deep, making it a world-class destination for snorkeling and diving. For 2026, it remains a favorite for those seeking a raw and geological experience away from the soft southern beaches. A traditional taverna is perched on the cliff above, providing local food and a panoramic view of the Ionian Sea. Access is via a winding road through the mountain village of Agios Leon.
