About the Beach

Panormos Beach is a collection of several small and friendly sandy coves located in a charming old village that used to be a busy fishing port a long time ago. The main beach is tucked behind a big stone wall that keeps the water as flat as a mirror, which makes it a great place for families because you can swim and float around without worrying about any big waves or strong currents pulling you away. The village itself is full of narrow little streets and white houses with flowers everywhere, and there are many traditional restaurants where you can sit on a balcony and look down at the turquoise water while you eat. It is a very social and cozy place where everything is close together, so you can spend your morning swimming in the clear sea and then walk just a few steps to find an ice cream shop or a place to buy a new mask for snorkeling with your friends and family.
