About the Beach
Pachia Ammos Beach is a very long beach with a mix of sand and pebbles located on the north coast right where the island gets very narrow, and it is famous for being one of the most windy places in the whole area. Because the wind blows so hard from the north, the waves can get really big and crash against the shore, which looks amazing but means you have to be a very careful swimmer if the red flag is up. The village right behind the beach is very small and traditional with a few places to eat fresh fish, and the whole area is surrounded by massive mountains that make the beach look very small and tiny compared to the giant cliffs.
