About the Beach

Pera Pigadi is a remote and stunning destination located on a small islet just off the southeastern coast of Ithaca. The beach is a mix of white pebbles and sand, and the water is an incredible, glowing turquoise that is among the clearest in the region. Most visitors arrive by boat, which keeps the island feeling very private and untouched. There are no facilities or buildings, so you are surrounded only by the rocks, the low shrubs, and the sea. It is a paradise for snorkelers and divers, as the underwater visibility is fantastic and the rock formations are full of life. The sense of isolation here is very strong, providing a true escape for anyone who wants to spend a day far away from the main island. The contrast between the bright water and the wild, rocky islet is visually breathtaking.
