About the Beach

Pountaki is a tiny, rugged inlet that most people miss, which is exactly why it’s so special. It’s a rocky little spot located between some of the more famous beaches, offering a very private and quiet environment for a swim. There isn’t much in the way of sand, so it’s more about finding a flat rock to leave your towel on and diving straight into the deep, crystal-clear water. It’s a fantastic place for snorkeling because the rocky seabed is full of life and interesting underwater formations. It feels very intimate and tucked away, like your own personal corner of the Aegean.
