About the Beach
Serfiotiko is a beach that demands respect and a pair of sturdy shoes. Located on the northern side of the island, it’s accessible only by boat or a long, winding hike through the traditional terraced fields. When you finally reach the shore, you’re rewarded with a mix of sand and large pebbles and a sea that feels incredibly deep and powerful. Because it faces North, it’s best visited on a day when the winds are low. It’s a very "raw" destination with no facilities, just a few old stone huts and a lot of silence. It’s a place for people who want to see what the islands looked like fifty years ago. The isolation here is total, making the swim feel like a true reward for the journey.
