About the Beach

Tigaki Beach is a small, quiet, and largely unorganized stretch of coastline located on the northern side of Kalymnos, near the village of Arginonta. This beach is primarily composed of dark pebbles and grey sand, giving it a rugged and natural appearance that contrasts with the more popular resort areas. The water here is exceptionally clear and stays calm most of the time, making it a reliable spot for a peaceful swim or for snorkeling along the rocky edges of the bay. Because it is tucked away from the main climbing sectors and the busier western villages, it remains a very local and tranquil environment. It is an excellent beach if you are looking for a simple, unhurried setting where you can enjoy the sound of the sea in relative solitude.
