About the Beach

Tripiti is a remote and stunning sandy beach on the southern coast of Ios that can only be reached by boat or a very long hike. The bay is divided by a small strip of land, creating a beautiful and protected environment with turquoise water. Because it is so difficult to access, you will often have the entire beach to yourself, even in the middle of summer. The sand is soft and white, and the seabed is perfect for snorkeling around the rocky edges of the cove. There are no facilities or shade, so you must bring your own supplies for the day. It is a true hidden gem for travelers who are looking for total privacy and a landscape that feels completely untouched by modern tourism.
