About the Beach

Vythouri Beach is a hidden and truly spectacular beach on the eastern side of Evia that feels like a secret paradise because it is tucked away at the bottom of two massive rocky cliffs that rise hundreds of feet into the air. The water here is a brilliant emerald green color and the beach is made of small pebbles and coarse sand, creating a very wild and natural landscape that looks like it belongs in a movie. Because of the way the giant cliffs surround the cove, the beach is in the shade for most of the day, which keeps it cool even in the middle of the summer and makes the water feel very fresh. There are no shops or roads that lead directly to the sand, so you have to walk a little bit to find it, but the peace and quiet of the open Aegean Sea and the dramatic stone walls make it one of the most beautiful and unforgettable spots on the entire island.
