About the Beach

Lefkandi Beach is a very long and popular sandy beach located right between the cities of Chalkida and Eretria, and it is a favorite spot for people who love to have a lot of space and plenty of things to do. The sand is very soft and the water stays shallow for a long way, which makes it an excellent place for playing beach games or going for long walks along the shore with your friends. The entire length of the beach is lined with a huge variety of modern cafes, traditional fish tavernas, and beach bars that stay busy from early in the morning until late at night. It is a very social and happy place where there is always music playing and people enjoying the sun, and the view of the big ships passing in the distance makes it a very interesting and lively part of the central coast.
