About the Beach

Kalamos Beach is often called one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Greece because it is actually made of two separate coves divided by a massive rocky cliff that sticks out into the bright blue sea. The first cove is more organized with a few beach bars and places to eat, while the second one is a bit more wild and quiet, but both have incredibly clear water and soft sand mixed with tiny white pebbles. The water is a very vibrant shade of blue that looks amazing against the dark green pine trees that cover the surrounding mountains, and it is a very popular spot for people who love to jump from the rocks into the deep ocean. It has a very lively and happy atmosphere during the summer, and the natural beauty of the twin bays makes it a place that you will never forget once you have seen it with your own eyes.
