About the Beach

Koroni Beach is a wild and very impressive beach on the eastern coast of Evia that faces the open Aegean Sea, which means the water is very fresh and the air always feels cool and clean. The beach is located at the foot of a small mountain and is made of coarse sand and pebbles, and it is known for being a bit more rugged and less crowded than the more famous spots nearby. Because it faces the open ocean, the waves can sometimes get quite big and powerful, which makes it a fun place for jumping and playing in the surf if you are a good swimmer. There is a very natural and untouched feeling to the whole area, with only a few simple tavernas where you can get a cold drink, making it a great destination for people who want to see the rougher and more adventurous side of the island's coastline.
