Panagitsa Beach is a small and charming local beach located right in the city of Chalkida, tucked behind a beautiful church that gives the beach its name. It is a very easy place for people living in the city to go for a swim without having to drive far, and the water is surprisingly clear and clean considering how close it is to the center of town. The beach is mostly pebbly and is a great spot to watch the sunset over the Euripus Strait while the city lights begin to twinkle on the hills across the water.
