About the Beach

Agios Pavlos Beach is a visually striking coastal landmark on the northern side of the island featuring a narrow and long peninsula of land that stretches out into the sea toward the islet of Nikouria. The landscape is defined by this unique geographical spit of land which creates two distinct water fronts and serves as the primary departure point for boats heading to the nearby islets. The surrounding terrain is characterized by its bright and arid Cycladic beauty with the dramatic mountains of Amorgos providing a monumental backdrop to the relatively low and flat shoreline. It is a favored spot for photographers and nature lovers due to its unusual coastal geometry and the way the land seems to reach across the turquoise channel to connect with the neighboring rocky peaks.
