About the Beach
Nealia is a beautiful and somewhat secluded cove located on the southeastern coast, not far from the town of Agios Kirykos. The beach is made of fine pebbles and sand, and it is framed by impressive rocky cliffs that provide a sense of privacy and protection. The water here is a stunning shade of blue and is incredibly transparent, making it a favorite spot for local residents who want to escape the busier harbor areas. There are no major facilities or organized sections, so the atmosphere remains very natural and quiet even during the peak of the summer season. It is a great destination for snorkeling along the rocks where you can see a lot of marine life in the still water. The access is via a dirt road or by boat, which helps keep the crowds away. It’s a perfect place for a quiet, undisturbed day in a very scenic Aegean setting.
