About the Beach

Yaliskari is a very picturesque and small sandy beach located on the northern coast, tucked between the larger hubs of Armenistis and Gialiskari. It is famously surrounded by a thick grove of pine trees that reach almost to the edge of the sand, providing a beautiful green contrast to the turquoise water. The beach is well-protected and offers a very calm swimming experience compared to the more open northern bays. It is partially organized with a few sunbeds and is located close to some of the island’s most charming seaside tavernas and cafes. The water is clear and inviting, and the presence of the trees gives it a very intimate and cozy feel. It is a great spot for those who want the convenience of a nearby village but prefer a slightly smaller and more enclosed beach setting. The mix of pine scent and salt air makes it a very relaxing place.
