Skorponeria Beach is a very unique and beautiful spot located in a deep bay that looks more like a lake or a fjord because it is almost entirely surrounded by high, rocky mountains. The water here is incredibly calm and still because the mountains act as a giant wall against the wind, and it has a stunning turquoise color that stays very clear all year round. The beach is a mix of sand and small pebbles, and it is a favorite place for people who have small boats because the bay is so protected and safe for anchoring. There are a few traditional tavernas where you can sit right by the water and enjoy the absolute silence of the landscape, making it feel like you are in a hidden corner of the world far away from any busy cities or noisy crowds.
