About the Beach

Thapsa Beach is one of the most hidden and incredible gems of Evia because it is located at the end of a very long and bumpy dirt road that keeps most of the crowds away. When you finally reach the bottom of the hill, you are rewarded with a stunning lagoon of neon blue water that is surrounded by high green mountains and white rocky cliffs. The sand is very fine and the water is so clear that it looks like a swimming pool, making it one of the most famous "secret" spots on the island for people who have 4x4 vehicles. It feels like you have discovered a private island in the middle of nowhere, and because it is so difficult to reach, the nature is perfectly preserved and the silence is only broken by the sound of the wind and the sea.
