About the Beach

Yaltra Beach is a lovely and very calm coastal spot located in the northern part of Evia within a sheltered bay that makes the water stay as smooth as glass almost every single day of the summer without any big waves. This area is very special because there are natural thermal springs nearby that have been famous since ancient times for their healing powers, and sometimes you can even feel the warm water mixing with the sea as you swim. The beach is narrow and sandy with some small pebbles, and it is lined with green trees that grow almost all the way down to the edge of the water, providing plenty of natural shade for a long afternoon of relaxing. It is a very traditional and quiet place where you can find small tavernas serving fresh fish right on the shore, making it the perfect destination for people who want a slow and easy day of swimming in a place that feels very healthy and peaceful.
