Getting from Paros to Agistri

If you are heading to Agistri from Paros you are making your way to the smallest of the Saronic islands, an island almost entirely covered in pine forest with good beaches and clear water close to Athens.

 

Take the ferry

There is no direct ferry from Paros to Agistri. Getting there means taking the ferry from Paros to Piraeus and then connecting onto the Saronic ferry from Piraeus to Agistri, which takes around 55 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes with up to 15 daily departures in summer.

 

Getting there by air

Agistri has no airport. The nearest airport is Athens. Flying from Paros to Athens takes around 45 minutes and then the Saronic ferry from Piraeus to Agistri takes around 55 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes. Total travel time is around 3 to 4 hours.

 

Your best option

Fly to Athens and take the Saronic ferry from Piraeus to Agistri. It is faster than the full ferry route from Paros via Piraeus and with up to 15 daily departures in summer you rarely need to book in advance.
