Getting from Rhodes to Pserimos
If you are heading to Pserimos from Rhodes you are making your way to a tiny island wedged between Kos and Kalymnos, further north in the Dodecanese chain. It is a quiet island with a sandy beach, tavernas and accommodation options that make it worth staying overnight rather than just passing through on a day trip.
Take the ferry
There is no direct ferry from Rhodes to Pserimos. The island is accessible only by local boat from Kalymnos or Kos, taking around 30 minutes. The most practical approach is to take the direct ferry from Rhodes to Kos or Kalymnos and then take the local boat across to Pserimos.
Getting there by air
Pserimos has no airport. The nearest airports are Kos and Kalymnos. Flying from Rhodes to Athens takes around 1 hour and then Athens to Kos takes around 1 hour, followed by the local boat to Pserimos taking around 30 to 45 minutes. Total travel time is around 4 to 5 hours. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.
Your best option
Take the ferry from Rhodes to Kos or Kalymnos and then the local boat across to Pserimos. It is the most practical approach and avoids going through Athens entirely.
